Rabi Lamichhane Claims This Election Will Yield Historic Results

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has claimed that this election will deliver historic results. Speaking to journalists after casting his vote, he stated that the country has reached a historic juncture and this election is more significant than any previous one.

Lamichhane clarified that deciding the future direction of the country and selecting the leadership is now entirely in the hands of the citizens. Stating that political parties have completed their mandated tasks, he emphasized that the time has come for citizens to use their discretion to determine the future of the nation and their descendants. Recalling the sacrifices made by many youths for change, he appealed to everyone to seize this golden opportunity and vote without hesitation.

When asked about the 'Gen Z' movement and youth issues, Lamichhane asserted that RSP is the only party willing to address and agree to the legitimate demands of the youth in writing. He mentioned that his party has fielded the highest number of candidates from the Gen Z generation, as well as from the families of the injured and martyrs.

He strongly condemned the attacks on RSP candidates and leaders during the election campaign. He labeled the vandalism of Manish Jha's vehicle and the attack on Sulabh Kharel's team as signs of a defeated mentality. He stated that in a democracy, dissatisfaction, anger, and frustration can only be expressed through the ballot box, and resorting to physical attacks is condemnable. 

Furthermore, he instructed his leaders and cadres across the country not to react to any criticism or provocation and to remain peaceful to ensure the election concludes smoothly.
