Seven Polling Stations in Palpa to be Fully Led by Women for House of Representatives Election

Palpa. Seven polling stations in the district will be operated under the complete leadership of women for the House of Representatives election taking place on Thursday. At these centers, the polling officer, assistant polling officer, assistant staff, and support staff are all women.

Chief Election Officer Hariprasad Sharma Upadhyay Pangeni informed that staff led by women have been deployed at the Tribhuvan Multiple Campus 'B' center in Tansen-4, Balamandir Basic School 'A' center in Ward No. 3, the temporary polling center at the Prison Office, the temporary polling center at Tundikhel, Adharbhut Ma Vi Dumrigaun 'B' in Rampur-7, Janakalyan Ma Vi Hungi 'B' in Rambha Rural Municipality-1, Hungi, and the Sharada Ma Vi 'C' center in Tansen-8 Madanpokhara.

Rama Shrestha, the polling officer at Balamandir 'A' polling center, stated that she feels pride and enthusiasm working at a polling station staffed only by women. She said, "We will conduct the election in a peaceful, impartial, and organized manner." The district has 251 polling stations across 118 voting centers.
