Israeli Military Launches Major Strikes Against Hezbollah Targets Across Lebanon

Kathmandu. The Israeli army launched fierce military attacks on Monday against targets belonging to the Iran-backed armed group Hezbollah, which is active throughout Lebanon.

According to international news agency Reuters, sounds of powerful explosions were heard in the southern suburbs of Lebanon's capital, Beirut. The Israeli military confirmed that it began targeting Hezbollah's military structures in various areas of Lebanon starting early Monday morning, in areas considered strongholds of Hezbollah.  

 Eyewitnesses reported seeing plumes of smoke in various parts of Beirut and South Lebanon.

The news mentions that Israel initiated this attack against Hezbollah following warnings by US President Donald Trump to strike Iran harshly and condemnations of Iranian aggression by Gulf nations. Detailed information regarding the damage caused by the attack is still pending.
