Number of patients up due to soaring heat

Baitadi –Number of people visiting health institutions of Baitadi district has increased due to scorching heat. 
Health Assistant at the District Public Health Office, Baitadi, Santosh Pandey, said that around 70 patients suffering from different diseases including fever and diarrhea visit the District Hospital, Baitadi, every day. 

Mostly, children, women and elderly persons are found suffering from the diseases and visiting the District Hospital, Baitadi. The number of patients has increased in lack of paying attention in sanitation and personal hygiene due to crisis of clean drinking water following increasing heat. 

Not only at the District Hospital, Baitadi, the flow of patients visiting other health institutions in the district has also increased, it is learnt. 

Health workers have suggested the people to pay special attention on cleanliness and food during the summer season.
