Udayapur. News of the wedding between popular South Indian film couple Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda has created a sensation on the internet. The pictures from their wedding on Thursday have broken the record for the most-liked celebrity posts in Bollywood history on social media.

Less than 24 hours after the wedding photos were made public, Rashmika's post received over 18 million likes. Previously, a post from the wedding of Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in 2023 held the record with 15.8 million likes. 

Similarly, the announcement of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's wedding in 2022 received 14.1 million likes. Rashmika and Vijay have left all these previous records far behind. The post by Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, who made their official announcement in 2017, currently has only about 7.7 million likes.

The wedding ceremony, held at ITC Memento in Udayapur, showcased a beautiful blend of both Telugu and Kodava traditions. Following the morning wedding ceremony, Rashmika introduced Vijay as her 'husband' for the first time on social media. She also wrote a long and very emotional message for her husband Vijay.

Rashmika described Vijay as the person who taught her the true meaning of love and explained the meaning of peace. She wrote, 'Vijay is the person who taught me that it is okay to dream big and who believes in who I am. The woman I have succeeded in becoming today is because of you.' She expressed great excitement about her journey with Vijay and stated that every success and struggle in her life has now found fulfillment with Vijay's companionship.
