Police Safely Rescue Wild Deer Found in Human Settlement in Lalitpur

Lalitpur. Police have safely rescued a wild deer found in a human settlement in Kitini, Godawari Municipality-3, Lalitpur. Locals reported to the police after a deer was suddenly found inside the compound of local Mina Suwal's house on Tuesday afternoon.

Upon receiving information that wildlife entering the settlement could pose a danger, a special team from the Police Division Godawari, under the District Police Complex Lalitpur, reached the scene. The team, commanded by Police Assistant Sub-Inspector (Prasani) Himal Thapa Magar, took the deer under control at 11:53 AM.

Police stated that the deer, which was found wandering inside the house compound, was rescued carefully without sustaining any injuries. It is presumed that the deer strayed into the settlement from a forest area.

The rescued wild deer has been immediately handed over to the Division Forest Office Godawari for necessary protection and management.
