Nepali Congress Prepares for Major Election Rallies Across Seven Provinces

Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress is preparing to hold major election rallies in all seven provinces. After holding the first rally in Tirahutiya, Janakpur on Falgun 6, where the party unveiled its 'Vision-10' election manifesto, the Congress is now preparing for rallies in the remaining provinces.

Party President Gagan Thapa, along with Vice-President Bishwa Prakash Sharma, who is the coordinator of the Election Mobilization Committee, and Vice-President Pushpa Bhusal, among others, will address these rallies.

According to Vice-President Bhusal, the dates for the major rallies to be held in five locations have been finalized. Bhusal informed Ratopati that rallies are set to take place in three locations on Falgun 14: Surkhet, Banke, and Rupandehi. Similarly, a rally is scheduled for Pokhara in Gandaki on the 15th. A rally in Kathmandu was previously set for Falgun 17.

Vice-President Bhusal informed that the dates for the rallies in Koshi and Sudurpaschim provinces have not yet been finalized. Bhusal stated, 'Our preparation is to hold major rallies province-wise. Now, when the rallies in Koshi and Sudurpaschim will take place is yet to be decided.'

Congress Spokesperson Devraj Chalise informed that helicopters will be used for top leaders to participate in rallies in three different locations on the same day.
