CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel Engages Voters in Dang, Highlights Party's Achievements

Dang. CPN-UML General Secretary and candidate for Dang Constituency No. 2, Shankar Pokharel, is busy meeting with voters. He stated that while seeking votes, he is informing people about the work done under UML leadership at the federal, provincial, and local levels, and is also working to dispel false misconceptions spread about the UML.

During a voter outreach in Laligurans Tole of Ghorahi-6, locals thanked him for initiating road and irrigation projects and demanded the completion of remaining road gravelling and culvert construction.

UML Ward Committee Chairman Mohan Khadka claimed that the UML leadership succeeded in securing projects worth over Rs 20 crore in the ward last year, and this year, projects worth over Rs 17 crore have been secured from the federal, provincial, and local governments. Locals who met the UML campaign team in Wards No. 4 and 7 stated that they would vote based on the development work done by parties previously, rather than just the promises made during election time.

Krimlal Chaudhary of Ghorahi-7 said, "In the past, we had to walk from Sarra during the monsoon carrying slippers in our hands and bicycles on our shoulders." He added that the road has now been blacktopped after the government led by UML allocated the budget. He mentioned that the entire village is mobilized to dispel the misconception that "the old ones did nothing."

General Secretary Pokharel has urged people to vote for him and his party by visiting every neighborhood, various ethnic communities, religious institutions, and farmers' homes.
