Gandaki Province Chief Minister Campaigns for Congress Candidate in Gorkha-2

Kathmandu. Gandaki Province Chief Minister Surendra Pandey is campaigning in Gorkha-2, seeking votes for Nepali Congress candidate Prakash Chandra Dawadi. The Chief Minister participated in the election program of candidate Dawadi in his home district, Gorkha, after obtaining permission from the Election Commission.

Chief Minister Pandey is campaigning by highlighting the work done by the Congress party in the province. He presented the budget brought by the provincial government over the past three years and the budget allocated to Gorkha district in the provincial government's Red Book for the current fiscal year while seeking votes.

"I have every detail of the budget allocated to Gorkha district in the provincial government's Red Book," Chief Minister Pandey said at the election program, "I won't say all your demands have been met, but many have been fulfilled."

He urged voters to elect the Congress candidate for the development of Gorkha. "Congress needs a majority to form the government; please vote for the 'Tree' symbol in proportional representation as well," he stated.

Chief Minister Pandey, who was elected to the Gandaki Provincial Assembly from Gorkha 2 (2), stated that he is moving towards fulfilling the promises he made during the election and urged support for the Congress candidate in the federal elections as well.

Chief Minister Pandey, who is also the leader of the Gandaki Province Parliamentary Party, is in Gorkha from Falgun 5 to 10 to participate in the municipal-level election rally organized by the Nepali Congress Gorkha-2.
