Biratnagar – Nepal Press Union, Morang will be conferring the annual Rama Prasad – Maya Devi Rijal Journalism Award to journalist Kumod Adhikari.
A meeting of Press Union, Morang held on Monday took the decision on extending Rs 11, 111 in cash prize with a certificate to journalist Adhikari, Union's Morang President Min Kumar Nabodit said.
Adhikari, who is Vice President of Federation of Nepalese Journalists (FNJ) Morang Chapter, is working for Radio Nepal.
The Union established the award in the name of Rijal to honour latter's long term struggle for democracy in Nepal.
