APF FC Clinches Red Bull ANFA Women's Championship 2082 Title; Individual Awards Announced

APF FC won the title of the Red Bull ANFA Women's Championship 2082 after defeating Tribhuvan Army Football Club by a score of 2-1 in the final match held on Saturday.

Anjana Rana Magar of the champion APF was declared the best goalkeeper of the tournament. After winning the Best Goalkeeper award, she shared her joy and struggle in a status update on the social media platform Facebook. 'Behind this smile lies hard work, sacrifice, and belief. Every dive, every save, and every tough training session led to this glorious moment,' she wrote.

Stating that becoming the champion and being named the best goalkeeper made it even more special, she added, 'These gloves are not just a trophy; they are a promise to always give my 100% for my team.' 

She also expressed gratitude to her colleagues who believed in her and fought alongside her, and to her family for their continuous love and support.

Similarly, Deepa Shahi of the runner-up Tribhuvan Army Football Club was chosen as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament. ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai presented her with the award at a ceremony held at the Tharuhat Stadium.

The award for the highest goal scorer in the tournament went to Rashmi Kumari Ghising of the champion team APF. She managed to score a total of 12 goals against the opponents' posts throughout the competition.
