Jwalahel Youth Club and Sahara Club Clash in Aaha Rara Pokhara Gold Cup Final

Kaski. The final match of the 25th edition of the prestigious national and international invitational Aaha Rara Pokhara Gold Cup, held in the region outside the capital, is taking place today. Jawalakhel Youth Club and Sahara Club Pokhara will face off for the title in the match scheduled for 2:00 PM at the Pokhara Stadium.

Jawalakhel has yet to win the Aaha Rara title so far. Jawalakhel aims to create history by winning the title for the first time, while Sahara is aiming to repeat its past success. Sahara, which won the title for the first time in BS 2070, is taking to the field for its second title.

Jawalakhel reached the final after defeating Machhindra Club 2-0 in the pre-quarterfinals, APF Church Boys United 3-0 in the quarterfinals, and the foreign team Abah FC from Uzbekistan 1-0 in the semifinals.

Sahara reached the final after defeating Gorkha International Football Club Hong Kong 1-0 in the pre-quarterfinals, Nepal Police Club 6-5 in the quarterfinals, and Manang Marshyangdi Club 7-6 in the semifinals.

Keshab Bahadur Thapa, President of the organizing Sahara Club, stated that the champion team of the 25th edition, which began on Magh 27, will receive Rs 1,401,000 along with a trophy, medals, and a certificate, while the runner-up team will receive Rs 701,000 along with a trophy and medals.

Furthermore, the best player will receive a scooter, while five other category winners will each receive Rs 25,000 and a trophy.
