Actor Deepak Raj Giri Urges Political Cadres to Avoid Infighting, Citing Unpredictable Alliances

Kathmandu. Artist and actor Deepak Raj Giri has advised party cadres to refrain from fighting amongst themselves. He stated in a social media post that leaders can reconcile at any time.

Recalling the unnatural alliances and power equations that frequently occur among Nepal's major political parties, Giri mentioned that he has witnessed 'many surprises' in politics.

'I have seen many surprises in politics! I have seen the Congress vote for the Maoists, I have seen the marriage of UML and Maoists,' he further wrote, 'I have seen Deuba and Oli as one heart, and I have also seen the love between Ravi and KP.' Therefore, he concluded by saying, 'Let us not fight.'

Giri, who often makes sharp comments on contemporary political and social issues via social media, received numerous supportive reactions from users on this status update.
