Veteran Bollywood Screenwriter Salim Khan Showing Improvement After Brain Hemorrhage

Mumbai. Although there has been some improvement in the health of Bollywood veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, he will remain in the hospital for a few more days. The 90-year-old Khan, who was admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital following a brain hemorrhage, recently underwent a minor surgical procedure.

According to Dr. Jalil Parkar, involved in the treatment, Khan underwent a 'Digital Subtraction Angiography' (DSA). This is not a major brain surgery but a high-quality X-ray procedure used to clearly view blockages in the blood vessels.

It is also called cerebral angiography. Doctors have stated that his condition is currently stable and his health is gradually improving. Hospital administration indicated that if everything remains normal, he could be taken off ventilator support today or tomorrow.

However, no decision has been made yet regarding his discharge until he makes a full recovery. Salman Khan and other family members are at the hospital looking after his father.
