Madhesh Province Congress Chief Challenges PM Aspirants to Open Debate with Gagan Thapa

Janakpurdham. Nepali Congress Madhesh Province President and Chief Minister Krishna Prasad Yadav has challenged other prime ministerial aspirants to engage in an open dialogue with Congress President and Prime Ministerial candidate Gagan Kumar Thapa.

Speaking at a press conference organized in Janakpurdham on Tuesday, Yadav stated that the Nepali Congress is ready to face any political challenge and called upon the prime ministerial candidates from all parties for a public debate.

Yadav asserted that anyone claiming the post of Prime Minister must engage in a dialogue about their vision on the same platform as Gagan Thapa, the Congress's prime ministerial candidate. "If anyone considers themselves a worthy candidate for Prime Minister, they should engage in an open dialogue with Congress's prime ministerial candidate Gagan Thapa," Yadav said. "We want to invite the candidates from all parties for a public debate." He also claimed that the Congress has put forward a clear vision for future leadership.

Meanwhile, the Nepali Congress is scheduled to unveil its election manifesto for the Madhesh Province from Dhanusha tomorrow, Wednesday. Yadav informed that this time the Congress has named its manifesto a 'Pledge Paper' ('Pratigyapatra'), which is based on the theme of 'Vision 10'. He appealed to all citizens to attend the special gathering in Dhanusha to listen to the addresses of the top leaders and realize their responsibility in nation-building.
