Nepal Communist Party Expresses Serious Concern Over Election Code Violations

Kathmandu. The Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has expressed serious concern over activities violating the election code of conduct. The NCP voiced its concern during a press conference held at the central office in Parisdanda on Tuesday.

The party stated that some media outlets are attempting to devalue the party by spreading misleading information contrary to the minimum standards of journalism and the election code of conduct. The NCP strongly objected to such activities.

'We have been seriously drawn to various activities that violate the election code of conduct. Some limited media outlets are continuously engaged in attempts to devalue our party by spreading misleading and false information contrary to the minimum standards of journalism and the election code of conduct. Our party strongly objects to such activities,' the NCP stated at the press conference.

It urged all media outlets to adhere to the values, dignity, and ethics of journalism, and to strictly follow the code of conduct set by the Election Commission.

Furthermore, it appealed to the Nepal Press Council to strictly monitor the code of conduct impartially.
