Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolis Expands Grassroots Football Program Across All 16 Wards

Kailali. Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolis is set to expand its 'Grassroots Football' program to all 16 wards with the objective of strengthening the foundation of football. This campaign, which began last year as a pilot in four wards, is being scaled up this year to reach every ward.

The Sub-Metropolis has put forward a plan to prepare football grounds in every ward and provide regular professional training to children. Last year, this program was successful in Ward No. 7's Patela, Ward No. 11's Dakshinkali and Thekraj Secondary School, Ward No. 16's Ghasita, and Ward No. 18's Chandrodaya Secondary School.

Continuing this momentum, training centers will also be operated this year in Ward No. 1's Covered Hall, Ward No. 2 near the Micro-Classification Center ground, Ward No. 3's New Bus Park, and Ward No. 5's Shree Krishna Sports Ground.

The municipality has signed a formal agreement with the Kailali District Football Association to advance this ambitious program in a systematic manner. According to the agreement, the District Football Association will now handle all technical aspects and the entire responsibility for training.
