Western Disturbance Affects Nepal; Partial Cloudiness and Snowfall Expected in High Mountains

Kathmandu. Currently, Nepal is under the general influence of the Western Disturbance. Due to this influence, there is partial cloud cover in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while the weather in the remaining areas is mainly clear.

This afternoon, fog and mist will persist in some parts of the Terai region until noon. Partial clouds will cover the high hilly and Himalayan regions of the country, and the weather in the remaining areas will be mainly clear. 

There is a possibility of light rain accompanied by snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

Tonight, haze will remain in a few places in the Terai region. Partial cloudiness will be observed in the hilly and Himalayan regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as Gandaki province, while the weather in the remaining areas will be mainly clear. 

The department has stated that there is a possibility of light rain accompanied by snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Gandaki province.
