Election Campaigning Kicks Off for House of Representatives Polls

Kathmandu. Formal campaigning has officially begun today for the elections to the House of Representatives.

Accordingly, political parties are intensifying their door-to-door canvassing efforts, trying to garner public support in their favor.

In this context, RPP leader and proportional representation candidate Khushbu Oli participated in a door-to-door campaign in Surkhet on Monday. She participated in the canvassing to seek votes for Rabi Kiran Hamal, the RPP candidate from Surkhet-1.

She stated that she participated in the door-to-door campaign in the area around Chhinchhu Bazaar with Hamal. During the canvassing, she mentioned that voters gave positive feedback, stating that a Hindu nation and monarchy are the current necessities. She has been in various districts for election campaigning for a few days.

Meanwhile, RPP is scheduled to hold election programs in 6 locations in the Far-West region on Tuesday. According to Oli, the party plans to hold rallies in Tikapur, Lamki, Sukhad, Attariya, Jhalari, and Mahendra Nagar. RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden has already reached Kailali for this purpose today.
