6 jawans killed in IED blast in Naxal-prone Dantewada

Dantewada/Raipur – At least six jawans of Chhattisgarh Armed Force and District Force were killed and two were injured in a high intensity Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast on a police vehicle, in Chhattisgarh’s Naxal-prone Dantewada district on Sunday.

The blast took place in Datewada’s Cholnar village. “Search operation is being held by security forces. Blast could be of high intensity, but the exact details will come after the investigation”, said DIG Anti-Naxal Operation, Sunder Raj P.
