President Paudel Expresses Deep Sorrow Over Passing of Former PM Bhattarai's Father, Social Worker Bhojraj Bhattarai

Kathmandu. President Ramchandra Paudel has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of former Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai's father and social worker, Bhojraj Bhattarai.

In a condolence message sent on Tuesday, President Paudel remembered the late Bhattarai as a helper to the poor and needy in villages and a truly parental figure.

Bhojraj Bhattarai was also the founder of Shree Vindhyabasini NiMaVi Khoplang. In his condolence message, the President discussed Bhattarai's social contribution and described him as an honest social worker. Paudel prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul of Bhattarai and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.

President's Press Advisor Kiran Pokharel and Chief Personal Secretary Abagya Paudel visited the residence of former Prime Minister Dr. Bhattarai and handed over the condolence message. First Lady Sabita Paudel was also present on the occasion. 

The President paid high respect to the contribution and dedication to society of Bhattarai, who passed away at the age of 97.
