GenZ Movement Alliance Demands Immediate Probe into Fatal Accident Involving Rastriya Swatantra Party Candidate's Vehicle

Kathmandu. The GenZ Movement Alliance has demanded an immediate investigation into the incident where four young girls died after being hit by a vehicle belonging to a Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate. The Alliance made this demand in a statement issued on Sunday.

The Alliance also demanded the immediate arrest and legal action against the candidate and the driver, who are reportedly absconding. The issued statement reads: 'The fact that the candidate and the driver aboard the vehicle fled immediately after the incident, showed no human empathy towards the victim's family, and attempted to downplay the incident is a serious and condemnable matter. This incident once again challenges the constitutional recognition that no one is above the law.'

The Alliance further demanded guaranteed fair compensation, free legal aid, and long-term social security for the victim's family. A few days ago, 4-year-old girl Alpha Khatun died after being hit by the vehicle of RSP candidate Sagir Alim in Mathiya Tole, Ishnath Municipality-4, Rautahat district.
