Nepal Kicks Off T20 World Cup Campaign Against England in Mumbai

Mumbai. Nepal is set to play its first match of the T20 World Cup today against England. The match is scheduled for 3:15 PM according to Nepali time. England is also starting their tournament with the match against Nepal.

The game is taking place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Nepalis have already arrived at the stadium to watch today's opening match. Cricket fans have gathered at the stadium draped in Nepali flags. The stadium is filling up with Nepalis who traveled from Nepal and those residing in India.

This marks Nepal's third appearance in the T20 World Cup. Nepal first played this format of the World Cup in 2014. Following that, Nepal participated in the second T20 World Cup in 2024.

Meanwhile, Nepal has lost the toss against England and will start by bowling/fielding first.
