Veteran Actress Lakshmi Giri Hails 'Shree Bukuro: The Home Calling' as Career Highlight

Veteran actress Lakshmi Giri stated that her favorite role in her long film career is in 'Shree Bukuro: The Home Calling'. She mentioned that in the film, she is not just a character actress but the lead actress who carries the entire movie.

At the song launch event for the film 'Shree Bukuro's' song 'Ae Saila Dai' held in the capital, she said that this film gave her the opportunity to showcase her acting talent.

'I might have had talent, but I hadn't been able to show it until now,' she said. 'I have played the role of the mother in the film and worked to drive the entire movie forward.' She expressed confidence that everyone will love the film. 'You might wonder what 'Bukuro' means; it is a hut thatched with straw,' she explained.

At the event, actress Nikita Acharya expressed her happiness at debuting in acting through this film. She informed that she played the character of Kusum in the movie.

Actor Ashirwad Chhetri stated that the story of the mother and son in the film was the reason it became his choice.

The song 'Ae Saila Dai,' which will be released from the film on Falgun 1, features lyrics and music by Basanta Sapkota and vocals by Sabin Subedi and Yukti Bimali. The music video features the lead actors Ashirwad Chhetri and Nikita Acharya dancing.

The film, written and directed by Sudeep Bhupal Singh, stars Ashirwad, Nikita, Lakshmi, along with Pratik Raj Acharya, Roshni Karki, Rajan Ishan, Deepika Thapa, Lay Sangraula, Mohan Niroula, Rambabu Regmi, Rashmi Bhatta, Uttam KC, Geeta Thapa, Sapana Shrestha, Ashika Shahi, Deepak Karki, and Rajina Bishwakarma. The film, produced under the banner of Range, is produced by Ruby Sen Singh.
