Filming Wraps for Nikhil Upreti's Directorial Venture 'Acharya'

Kathmandu. The principal photography for the film 'Acharya', directed by actor Nikhil Upreti, has concluded. The production unit 'packed up' after shooting the final scene at the Pashupatinath Temple premises in Kathmandu on Saturday night.

Director Upreti informed that the filming, which began in Bhadra, was completed over a total of 83 days across various locations including Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Pokhara, Sarlahi, and different parts of India. Nikhil shot the final scene of the film. Although the entire principal photography is finished, shooting for two songs remains pending. The production team stated that a separate schedule will be set for the song shoots as the actors' looks will not change.

Sharing his experience from the shoot, Nikhil also expressed some dissatisfaction with the work culture observed in the film industry. He shared his experience that professionalism and seriousness towards work among the crew members are diminishing. 'I saw fewer artists being serious about their work. I found that the workers were unable to work in a fixed manner and there were too many talkers, which affects those who aim for serious making,' he said.

The film is produced by actress Sanchita Luitel. Nikhil Upreti plays the lead role in the film, which will also feature some Indian actors. The film is expected to showcase Nikhil's powerful action sequences.
