Police Arrest 25 Members of 'Dangerous Skull' Group for Unauthorized Motorcycle Rally in Surkhet

Karnali. Surkhet police have arrested 25 members of the 'Dangerous Skull' group for taking out a motorcycle rally with black flags in Birendranagar. The police arrested 25 youths belonging to the youth group named 'Dangerous Skull' (Danger Skull) on Saturday on charges of disrupting public peace and election security by taking out a motorcycle rally without the permission of the local administration.

District Police Office Spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohan Jung Budhathapa informed that the group members were arrested from Tatapani, Birendranagar-3, on Saturday afternoon while they were creating a commotion by carrying black and white flags and riding motorcycles in a rally, heading towards Dhuliabitta via Tinkune Chowk in Birendranagar Municipality-11, Surkhet.

He stated, "Following the incident, a police team of 30 personnel deployed from the District Police Office Surkhet and the City Police Office arrested 25 individuals along with eight motorcycles and four scooters and have been kept at the District Police Office for necessary investigation."

According to preliminary investigation, the police stated that the group was found engaging in activities that disrupt public peace, as well as violating the code of conduct and election laws that prohibit certain actions for the upcoming House of Representatives election.
