Nepal Police Women's Volleyball Team Departs for Maldives Championship

Kathmandu. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dan Bahadur Karki, who is also the Chairman of the Nepal Police Sports Committee, bid farewell to the team participating in the 'CAVA Volleyball Club Championship, Women 2026' to be held in the Maldives, offering best wishes. IGP Karki bid farewell to the team comprising 14 players and 4 officials during a ceremony held at the Police Headquarters on Sunday.

The Nepal Police women's volleyball team will compete in the international tournament scheduled to run from Magh 21 to 27. Addressing the farewell program, IGP Karki stated that this team represents not only the police organization but the entire nation and the Nepali people. He urged the players and coaches to perform excellently in the competition and enhance the prestige of the country and the organization at the international level.

Additional Inspectors General of Police, Deputy Inspectors General of Police, and senior police officers were present at the farewell ceremony. Nepal expects medals from this team, which is departing for the Maldives with high morale.
