CPN-UML Launches Ward-Level Election Offices in Damak Municipality for Federal Polls

Damak. The CPN-UML has started operating ward-level offices in all 10 wards of Damak Municipality today, under the House of Representatives Election Mobilization Committee. The UML has stated that every party worker will now visit the homes of voters and persuade them to vote for the UML.

Devendra Dahal, Coordinator of the Election Mobilization Committee, informed that the UML had already organized rallies and started campaigning for votes for the party chairman and candidate for Jhapa 5, KP Sharma Oli.

Coordinator Dahal further informed that all election-related activities within Damak Municipality will be advanced across all wards. He stated that offices have been established in all wards and formal operations began today.

Responsibilities have been assigned, including ward committee coordinators, central committee office bearers and members residing in the geography under each ward, provincial committee office bearers and members, as well as district and municipal committee office bearers and members.

Similarly, all office bearers and members of mass organizations in the respective wards, leading party workers, and experts will be involved in formulating daily plans at the office.

Through the offices, daily party programs will be facilitated for the door-to-door canvassing and the local area committees under the ward. Previously, election mobilization committees of at least 151 members and up to 501 members were formed at the ward level.

It has been stated that planning will be prepared and management of all party activities in that area will be handled through the offices established in the wards.
