Seven Bodies Discovered Across Nepal on Saturday, Authorities Investigate

Seven individuals were found dead in various locations across the country on Saturday, police reported. Their bodies were discovered in Kathmandu, Kanchanpur, Lamjung, Pyuthan, Morang, Panchthar, and Chitwan. 

Of the bodies recovered, two remain unidentified, while the others have been identified. Shashi Bikram Thapa, 38, a resident living in a rented room in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-25, Bhedasingh, was found dead near his room. 

Meanwhile, the body of an unidentified woman, estimated to be around 25 years old, was found in a stream in Shanti Community Forest, Bhimdatta Municipality-10, Kanchanpur. In Lamjung, 74-year-old Raj Kumar Kami was found dead in the jungle of Dudhpokhari Rural Municipality-6, and 19-year-old Sarmila Gharti was found dead in the jungle of Gaumukhi Rural Municipality-6, Pyuthan.

Similarly, the body of 55-year-old Raju Urau was found in the bushes near Bajrangbali Temple in Budiganga Rural Municipality-7, Morang. Pushpa Prasad Dhungana, 66, was found dead near the cremation site in Phidim Municipality-2, Batase, Panchthar. In Chitwan, the body of an unidentified woman, estimated to be around 60 years old, was found on the banks of the Narayani River in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1, with her name and address yet to be determined, according to police.

Local police have prepared initial records for all these incidents and have initiated necessary investigations.
