Nepali Congress to Feature 'Vision-10' in Upcoming Election Manifesto

Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress is set to incorporate 'Vision-10' into its manifesto for the upcoming elections. Addressing a press conference at the party office in Sanepa on Saturday, party spokesperson Devraj Chalise stated that the manifesto will reflect the country's current reality, centering on good governance, development, and practical action plans.

According to spokesperson Chalise, the Congress manifesto will not be limited to aspirations and commitments; it will clearly outline the necessary resources, means, and strategies for implementation. "The manifesto will include not just programs, but also how the resources for them will be managed," he said.

Chalise informed that the party is currently gathering suggestions from districts across the country during the manifesto drafting process, adding that suggestions received from local levels, constituencies, and districts will be integrated with national needs. "Congress will bring a manifesto that includes achievable, practical, and implementable programs," he stated. "It will attempt to encompass the sentiments of all classes, sectors, and communities."

Spokesperson Chalise claimed that the manifesto will address current challenges and future direction simultaneously, presenting a trustworthy alternative to the public. He mentioned that the party is preparing to publicly present a clear framework for stability, accountability, and inclusive development through the manifesto.

On this occasion, he also warned against turning the country into a laboratory in the name of 'new tests'. Stating that a political institution approved by the people never becomes old, he noted that only individuals grow old with time. "The party does not become old; the ideas are renewed, the leadership is renewed," Chalise said. "In old parties worldwide, new leadership emerges, and a trustworthy future is built through that very process."

Stressing that the citizen's vote is decisive in democratic practice, he stated that the upcoming election will determine the future direction of the country. "The vote given by the citizen determines the future of the country," he said. "The party is entering the electoral arena with the belief that Congress is the future of the country."
