USA Announces Squad for ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026; 10 Players Retained from 2024 Edition

Kathmandu. Under the captaincy of Monank Patel, the USA has announced its squad for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026. Ten players who participated in the 2024 edition have been included again in the announced squad.

This will be the USA's second participation in the T20 World Cup in 2026. The USA surprised everyone by reaching the Super-8 stage in its first participation in 2024.

Along with team captain Monank Patel, Jessy Singh, Andries Gous, Milind Kumar, Shayan Jahangir, Harmeet Singh, Nosthush Kenjige, Shadley Van Schalkwyk, Saurabh Netravalkar, and Ali Khan have returned to the squad for the 2026 edition.

Wicketkeeper-batter Andries Gous performed excellently with the bat for the team, scoring 219 runs in the 2024 edition, while Netravalkar took the most wickets in the tournament with 6.

Shubham Ranjane is likely to make his T20 International debut through this ICC tournament. Similarly, Mohammad Mohsin and Shihan Jayasuriya may also play their first international matches for the USA.

The USA, placed in Group 'A', will compete against India, Pakistan, Netherlands, and Namibia in the group stage. The USA will begin its campaign against India on February 7 in Mumbai.
