Director Baliram Chauhan Claims 'The Blue Light' Tackles a Memorable Theme

Director Baliram Chauhan stated that the film 'The Blue Light' addresses a theme that audiences will always remember in terms of its story. He mentioned that the film's narrative is not just for watching but also for contemplation.

'In a way, this is a special film,' he told Ratopati, 'An attempt has been made to portray the complexity of the human mind, loneliness, and the fine line between reality and illusion on screen.'

Many have speculated that the film belongs to the 'horror' genre based on the recently released trailer. However, Director Chauhan clarifies that the film is a psychological drama-thriller, not horror. He says, 'Some scenes will certainly give the audience a feeling of fear.'

'The Blue Light' is set to be publicly released on Magh 16. Benisha Hamal and Arpan Thapa play the lead roles in the film. Chauhan informed that the film's story revolves around these two characters. 'The themes of love, betrayal, and revenge can be seen in a new style in the film,' he added.

Besides Benisha and Arpan, Ayushman Deshraj Joshi, Srishti Shrestha, Mahesh Tripathi, and Suraksha Itani also have significant roles in the film. Grishma Katuwal and Sahara Sharma are featured as child artists.

The film, presented by Skyfall Pictures, has Bhola Nath Katuwal and Raman Gray as co-producers, while cinematographer Narendra Mainali and actress Benisha Hamal serve as executive producers. Narendra Mainali is the cinematographer for the film.
