Film 'Kalli' Release Postponed Due to Upcoming Elections

The release of the film 'Kalli' has been postponed. The film was scheduled for a nationwide release starting February 1st (1 फागुन). The film's release has been postponed due to the elections.

Kiran Nepali, on behalf of the film production company Lekali Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., issued a statement on Monday stating that the film's release was postponed due to the elections. He informed that a new release date would be announced as soon as a conducive environment is established.

The statement read, 'We had set the public release date for 'Kalli' as the upcoming February 1st (1 फागुन). However, in the current situation, our beloved country is engaged in elections. It is natural and necessary that the attention of all citizens and the priority of the state are focused on the country's politics and elections during this important and complex time when the future of the nation is being decided. We believe—country first, then art and entertainment.'
