Government Appoints Secretary Chandra Kala Paudel as Acting Chairman of Insurance Authority Board

The government has decided to appoint Secretary Chandra Kala Paudel to work as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nepal Insurance Authority. Government Spokesperson and Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal informed that the Cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar on Monday decided to appoint Secretary Paudel from the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration to function as the Chairman of the Insurance Authority Board of Directors until further arrangements are made.

Likewise, Government Spokesperson Aryal stated that the meeting also decided to grant approval for the use of national forest land for the Sutikhola Hydropower Project, Tamakoshi Fifth Hydropower Project, Upper Sankhuwasabha Hydropower Project, and Setikhola Hydropower Project.

He added that other cabinet decisions were informed during the regular press conference.
