Garima Bikas Bank and ICAN Ink Deal to Offer Concessional Loans to Chartered Accountants

Kathmandu. A significant agreement has been reached between Garima Bikas Bank Limited and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) regarding the provision of special concessional loans targeting chartered accountants. With this agreement, members affiliated with the association will now receive special discounts and priority on various banking facilities from the bank.

The agreement was signed by Chief Executive Officer Madhav Prasad Upadhyaya on behalf of the bank and President Anup Nepal on behalf of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal. Following this collaboration, chartered accountants will be eligible for credit card facilities ranging from NPR 75,000 to NPR 5 lakh with minimal paperwork. Furthermore, arrangements have been made for them to avail personal professional loans up to NPR 15 lakh without collateral upon completing the necessary procedures.

The bank has also proposed attractive interest rates for home loans and vehicle loans, considering the needs of professionals. Currently, the bank is offering housing loans starting from 6.49% and commercial (SME) loans starting from 5.99% under the slogan 'Now Own Your Home'.
