Agricultural biodiversity crucial to maintain environmental balance

Kathmandu, Jan 15: Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Dr Madan Prasad Pariyar has pledged to effectively implement laws for conservation, promotion and utilization of agricultural biodiversity.

In a message today on the occasion of the Fourth National Agricultural Biodiversity Day, Minister Dr Pariyar said conservation and sustainable utilization of agricultural biodiversity is important for maintaining environmental balance and climate risk reduction.

Minister Pariyar has also urged one and all to unite for the preservation of the unique culture and agricultural biodiversity.
