Baby girl dies after being hit by school bus

Biratnagar – A three-year-old baby girl died after being hit by a school bus here on Thursday evening. 

The deceased has been identified as Sujika Karki, daughter of Binod Karki of Rangeli Municipality-2, Morang. 

The Province 1 Police Office, Biratnagar confirmed the death of the girl in the accident. The bus (Ko 1 Kha 2781) belonging to an English boarding school struck the girl, killing her on the spot.

Police have arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle. Further investigations are going on.
