ITF Tennis: Nepal's Shivali enjoys dual victory

Kaski, Dec 13: Nepal's Shivali Gurung has won the dual titles in the ITF World Tennis Tour Circuit-2 held at Tennis Complex in the Pokhara Stadium of Kaski district.

In the finals of the Women's Single of Circuit-2, Gurung lifted the title by thrashing Chinese Taipei's Ke-Chieh Hsu Hsuchi. Earlier, Shivali had won the Circuit-1 title.

Fourteen-year-old Gurung won the titles of Circuit-1 and Circuit-2 in both Women's Singles and Women's Doubles and made history to collect 75 points.

Likewise, Shivali and Chinese Taipei's Ke-Chieh Hsu Hsuchi defeated India's Tejwoshi Manneni and New Zealand's Boidehi Ukil in the Women's Doubles.

Similarly, Chinese Taipei's Ting-Ho Yan won the title in the Men's Singles by defeating South Korean Yul Ho Jung.

Under the Men's Doubles category, Korean players Hyojin Ha and Yul Ho Jung won the title defeating the Indian players.
