West Indies Squad Announced for T20 Series Against Nepal
The West Indies cricket team for the upcoming T20 series against Nepal has been announced. Cricket West Indies has named a 15-member squad to be led by Captain Akeal Hosein. The series will be played between the two nations later this month.
The West Indies Squad
The full squad includes Akeal Hosein (Captain), along with players Fabian Allen, Jewel Andrew, Akeem Auguste, Naveen Bidase, Jediah Blades, Kacey Carty, and Karima Gore. The team also features well-known international players such as Jason Holder, Aimar Jango, Kyle Mayers, Obed McCoy, Jisan Motara, Raimon Simmonds, and Shamar Springer.
The Nepali Team and Series Details
Earlier, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) had already announced its own 16-member squad, which will be captained by Rohit Paudel. The three-match T20 International series, named the "Unity Cup," is scheduled to be held from September 27 to 30 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the UAE. CAN stated that the name "Unity Cup" was chosen to emphasize the importance of national unity, especially following the recent Jana Andolan (People's Movement) in Nepal. This series is a significant milestone for Nepal, as it marks the first time the national team will play a T20I series against a full Test-playing nation.

The Nepali squad consists of the following players: Rohit Paudel (Captain), Dipendra Singh Airee (Vice-Captain), Aasif Sheikh, Sandeep Lamichhane, Kushal Bhurtel, Mohammad Adil Alam, Arif Sheikh, Sandeep Jora, Karan KC, Nandan Yadav, Gulshan Jha, Lalit Rajbanshi, Sombal Kami, and Shahab Alam.
