Nepal Art and Culture Festival Begins This Friday in Kathmandu

The Nepal Art and Culture Festival is set to begin this Friday. The event will be held at the premises of the Nepal Art Council in Babar Mahal, Kathmandu. The organizers have confirmed that all preparations for the festival are complete. President Ram Chandra Paudel is scheduled to inaugurate the event.

Duration and Collaborative Efforts

The festival is being organized by the Nepal Tourism Board and the Nepal Art Council in collaboration with all four metropolitan cities of the Kathmandu Valley. It will continue until September 26. According to the Council, the festival aims to showcase the nation's unique cultural richness and heritage through the medium of painting. The event will feature creations by renowned artists.

Focus on Heritage and Timing

Materials that highlight the heritage, art, and culture of the Kathmandu Valley will also be included in the exhibition. The Council stated in a released notice that the festival has been timed to coincide with the occasion of the Indra Jatra festival, making it a significant cultural celebration.
