HoR approves proposal to discuss Fiscal Responsibility Bill

Kathmandu, March 16 — The proposal to consider the "Economic Procedures and Fiscal Responsibility (First Amendment) Bill, 2081" has been approved by a majority in the House of Representatives.

This approval paves the way for further discussions on the bill.

The House has also opened the floor for submitting amendment proposals to the bill.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire has instructed lawmakers to contact the Bill Section at the Parliament Secretariat in Singha Durbar for submitting their amendments.

This bill replaces the "Economic Procedures and Fiscal Responsibility (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2081".
