Deuba pledges to resolve Gurkha recruitment problems

Kathmandu, March 6 — Sher Bahadur Deuba, the President of Nepali Congress and former Prime Minister, stated that only in a democracy can the rights of all classes be ensured.

While addressing a program organized by the Nepal Ex-Servicemen Association at the party's central office in Sanepa on Thursday, Deuba mentioned that he was actively working to understand and address the issues within the Nepal Ex-Servicemen Association.

He also informed that discussions were ongoing with the government regarding the Gurkha recruitment center.

Deuba committed to advancing diplomatic talks to resolve the issues related to Gurkha recruitment.

Deuba further emphasized that when all affiliated and well-wishing organizations are strong, the Nepali Congress party will also be strong.
