NEPSE index drops by 30.36 points

Kathmandu, March 4 — The NEPSE index has dropped by 30.36 points, settling at 2,846.30 points on the third day of the week.
According to market reports, today’s trading volume reached NPR 12.94 billion.
Of the companies listed, 198 saw a decrease in value, while 41 experienced an increase, and 5 remained unchanged.
The market saw a decline across all subgroups, with the finance and production sectors experiencing the most significant losses, each dropping by over 2%.
In individual stocks, shares of Guardian Micro Life surged by 10%, while shares of Sindhu Development Bank dropped by the same margin.
Himalayan Reinsurance remained the leading company in terms of trading volume, with over one billion in transactions.
