Flammable gas erupts during boring in Tikathali

Kathmandu, March 4 — Flammable gas has emerged during a boring operation in Tikathali, Lalitpur.
The gas has ignited, causing a fire, as confirmed by SP Nara Hari Regmi of the Lalitpur District Police Office to Ratopati.
The gas emerged from a depth of 350 meters, and the fire was caused by the released gas.
The incident occurred when a local resident in Mahalaxmi Municipality's Tikathali area was drilling for drinking water.
Both police and municipal authorities have reached the scene.
