Deuba calls meeting of office-bearers and former office-bearers

Kathmandu, February 28 — The President of the Nepali Congress, Sher Bahadur Deuba, has called for a meeting with party office-bearers and former office-bearers.

According to party's Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel, the meeting is scheduled for 4:00 PM on Friday at Deuba's residence in Budhanilakantha.

The meeting will focus on addressing the challenges in implementing federalism, discussing how to pass important bills in the current parliamentary session, and reviewing the progress of the directives given to the sister organizations to hold their conventions by April 12.

The meeting will also evaluate the work done by the committees formed for institutional decisions and provide necessary directives, Paudel added.
