Energy Minister asks Kulman Ghising for clarification again

Kathmandu, February 25 — Energy Minister Deepak Khadka has asked Nepal Electricity Authority's Executive Director Kulman Ghising for a 24-hour clarification again.  

Minister Khadka was dissatisfied with Ghising's previous response to the clarification request, prompting him to seek further clarification.  

In Monday's Cabinet meeting, the government had planned to remove Ghising, but no such action was taken.

Khadka's secretariat mentioned that Ghising has been asked to provide a response within 24 hours regarding issues related to internal and international travel.  

Since Khadka's appointment as the Chairman of the NEA Board, Ghising has been asked to clarify his internal and international trips, leave records, and related matters.  

Minister Khadka had previously requested a 9-point clarification on January 6, but Ghising's response on January 12 was deemed unsatisfactory.
