Prachanda meets martyr families in Tanahun

Tanahun, February 21 — Former Prime Minister and Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Center), Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda,' held a meeting and interaction with martyr families in Tanahun's Dulegaunda on Friday.

During the meeting, Prachanda highlighted the significant work done by the Maoist-led government in honoring the martyrs and the missing individuals of the People’s War, as well as in areas such as relief.

He said, "When we led the government, we made significant strides in honoring the martyrs and missing persons of the People's War, recognized the People's War as a National Day, and declared the martyrs as national martyrs. We also finalized the law related to Truth and Reconciliation, and now we are working to complete the remaining tasks with the establishment of a commission."

In the meeting, representatives from the martyr families thanked Prachanda for his role in the honor and relief of the martyrs and missing persons, urging him to focus on completing the remaining tasks through the commission.
