Former President Bhandari travels to Thailand for health checkup

Kathmandu, February 20 — Former President Bidya Bhandari has traveled to Thailand for a routine health checkup.
She departed for Thailand on February 17th, accompanied by her daughter Usha Kiran, security personnel, and aides.
According to an UML leader close to her, Bhandari, who had previously received treatment for blood cancer in Thailand, is there for regular checkups.
She is expected to return to Nepal on February 28th.
The leader further mentioned that Bhandari is also undergoing tests for her blood cancer condition and hip-related issues.
Following her return, Bhandari plans to visit provinces, including Madhesh, for further engagements.
