Six parliamentary committee meetings to be held today

Kathmandu, February 14 — Today, meetings of six parliamentary committees will be held simultaneously.

At 11 a.m., the meeting of the Finance Committee will take place. The meeting will discuss amendments with the members regarding the bill to amend and consolidate customs laws.

Similarly, at 11:30 a.m., the meeting of the Agriculture, Cooperative, and Natural Resources Committee will discuss issues faced by the farmers of Swargadwari Guthi with the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperative and Poverty Alleviation, and the Guthi Sansthan.

At 11 a.m., the meeting of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee will discuss the Civil Service Bill.

The Education, Health, and Information Technology Committee will also meet at 11 a.m. to discuss the Shahid Dashrath Chand Health Sciences University Bill, with experts.

At 12:30 p.m., the meeting of the Committee on Development, Economic Affairs, and Good Governance will discuss the study report on Nepal's graduation from Least Developed Country (LDC) status to a Developing Country submitted by the subcommittee.

Additionally, at 11 a.m., the meeting of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee will discuss suggestions received for resolving policy issues related to national parks.
