Galle, January 30 — In the first innings of the 1st Test between Sri Lanka and Australia at Galle, Australia delivered a dominant performance, declaring at 654/6 after 154 overs.
Usman Khawaja led the charge with a brilliant 232, while Steven Smith contributed an impressive 141.
Josh Inglis also made a valuable contribution, scoring 102 runs.
Having won the toss, Australia elected to bat first, and their decision proved fruitful as they built a massive total through solid and consistent batting.
